RETAL AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

CONTRATO DE ALQUILER
Client responsibility / Responsabilidad del arrendatario
The client is responsible for the rental equipment, from the time the equipement is rented until the time it is returned, including damage and theft of rental equipment. If the bicycle is lost or damage, the renter must pay the value of the bicycle (250€) or the repair.
El arrendatario se responsabiliza del material alquilado durante la vigencia de este contrato. Si no devuelve la bicicleta o la devuelve en malas condiciones debera pagar el valor de la bicicleta (250€) o el coste de su reparación.
The client must lock the bicycle properly whith the suply locks onto the poleo of a public bike parking (see illustration), or a post. It is recommend to store the bicycle inside your accommodation overnight.
El arrendatario se oblige a encadenar la bicicleta correctamente a un parking de bicis o a un poste. Es recomendable guardar la bicicleta si se puede, durante la noche.
The client accepts all riks associated whith the use of a bicycle. Rivera can not be hold responsible for injures or demage to third parties. Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Barcelona, Spain. This contrac shall be governed by Spanish law.
El arrendatario acepta los riesgos asociados al uso de la bicicleta. RiveraBikeRental no se responsabiliza de los daños y perjuicios a terceros que el arrendatario ocasione con la bicicleta(s) alquilada. Ambas partes se someten a la jurisdicción y competencia del tribunal de Barcelona.
DEPOSIT / DEPOSITO
The client is required to present a valid embossed numbered crédito card which we will make an imprint, or valid oficial document, or 250€ in cash. The deposit will be returned at the end of the contrac anwhent the bicycle(s) has been returned in perfect conditions.
El arrendatario presentara una tarjeta de crédito con cobertura de 250€ por bicicleta que abandonara en concepto de deposito. Si no tuviese tarjeta, dejara en su lugar un documento oficial o 250€ en efectivo. El depósito le será devuelto a la tarjeta de crédito o en efectivo una vez entregue la bicicleta(s) en las mismas condiciones en las que fue alquilada, y del mismo se le descontara el costo de alquiler de la bicicleta(s) si el arrendatario así lo desea.
Theft insurance / Seguro de Robo
If the client wishes to pay for an insurance (3€/Day), the deposit will be 100€, Clients whith insurance must present an official police report in case of theft. If the client has lost any of the keys, she/he must pay the replacement value of 10€/Key.
Si el arrendatario quiere contratar un seguro de robo (3€/Día), el deposito será de 100€. En caso de robo el cliente siempre deberá presentar una denuncia de la policía. Si no se devuelve alguna de las llaves el cliente vendrá obligado(a) a pagar 10€/Llave.
Municipal regulation for cyclists in Barcelona
Ride carefully respect traffics rules. Whenever you can, use cycle lanes or ride on the right stree lane, nearest to the pavement. If this is for buses or taxis,, ride in the next one. You can occupy the middle of it. Whenever cycling in areas reserved for pedestrians, give way to them at all times and adapt your speed, without exceeding 10km/h.
Conduzca con y respete las normas de trafico. Cuando pueda, vaya por carriles bici o vaya por el carril derecho, cerca de la acera; si el área esta reservada para buses y taxis, vaya por el siguiente, ya que puedes ocupar la mitad de dicho carril. Cuando vayas por aceras reservadas para peatones, dales siempre prioridad de paso y adapta tu velocidad, nunca superando la 10 km/h.
The client must inform us by phone or in person in case she/he will return the bicycles(s) later or if the equipment is damaged or not working properly.
El cliente deberá informarnos por teléfono o en persona en el caso de que quiera devolver las bicicletas mas tarde o si la bicicleta esta en mal estado.
